Born in London, United Kingdom, Tony Malek came to South Africa for a holiday in 1993 and settled in Cape Town.
Originally an accountant, he found his forte in sales, working in many industries ranging from credit and recruitment to finance and media. A creative soul at heart he loves drawing, cooking and discovering new craft beers.
He has a secret life as a rock ‘n’ roller, having won a South African Music Award for Best Alternative Album in 2013 and you can still find him performing in his blues band on weekends.
