Saarah Survé is the editor-in-chief of African Independent and Fast Company South Africa magazines. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree, with majors in political science and international relations, from the University of Cape Town (UCT). She is also a graduate of Stellenbosch University’s Honours programme in journalism.
Saarah is passionate about Africa and seeks to change the narrative of the continent by producing positive and progressive stories while not shying away from the hard facts. She believes that Africa’s time is now.
She is enthusiastic about education, children and their rights. She wants to help empower young people so they realise their potential and, in turn, give back to the communities from which they come.
